I will give credit where credit is due, I took the tdm-works fmic setup and slightly changed it. I felt that with the inlet and outlet tanks right above each other, the high pressure air would try and follow the path of least resistance (straight up), so I put the inlets and outlets at opposing corners to make the air travel the same distance weather it goes vertical or horizontal first. They also use a 24" x 6" x 3.5" core, I wanted to use this with a 99' fascia, so I tried to get it to match as much as possible, I felt making the FMIC longer and thinner, the air would be able to hit the same surface area, but it would not heat up as much as it passed the intercooler (i.e. 3" deep instead of 3.5"). I wanted a 2.5" core, but Bell Intercoolers drops straight from a 3" to 2.25" which would not flow enough air.
